Its causes are still unknown and allopathic management is not confirmed. The scaly patches of psoriasis are termed as psoriatic plaques. These plaques are the areas of inflammation and excessive skin production. These plaques can spread all over the body, in the nails, sometimes in the bones to generate psoriatic arthritis.
